OUR BEAM SWEEPER HAS ARRIVED!!!

At last the new beam sweeper has arrived and has gone straight out to work at London City Airport.

With her high pressure jets she can deliver Back to Black much quicker than traditional BEAMs. Likewise with an 8000L clean water tank capacity and 14 cubic meter waste hopper, she can deliver a much longer station time, leading to fewer interruptions for tip-runs. With regard to the Northumberland line project, we are opening Ashington and Seaton stations to the public this coming weekend and I just wanted to pass on praise and thanks to Darren who has gone above and beyond in my opinion.

Darren has assisted with the cleaning of both Ashington and Seaton stations, and he has shown a great deal of care and diligence to get the stations looking as good as possible, not only with the sweeper but with jet washing areas and making time in between his duties at other stations to fit into our opening schedule, sometimes at short notice.
